I wanted to send you this mail, as I personally would like to thank you for everything you have done in the sale of my house in Zwijnaarde.
When I think back to when I contacted you on the chat through rosseel, you were probably thinking.... there is a Chinese-English person living in Scotland who wants to sell a house in Belgium, and he wants to chat about it at 18:00 on a Friday night? You probably thought this was some sort of joke.....
However, 7 months on, the house is sold, the money is paid, and we are done..... but that doesn't tell the whole story.... your attention to detail and listening to me, the customer, was the reason why I chose not only rosseel but I chose you to manage the sale of the house. You listened to my challenges, and you rose up to every single one of them. You took the time to explain the process and hear about how I was struggling to pay the bills because of communications with the different electricity and water suppliers and managed this for me. You kept me in the loop with all the offers from the different interested parties and helped talk through the correct strategy to obtain the correct buyer. You managed my mail during covid times when I was not able to travel to Belgium and worked through the challenges with the Belgian consulate which enabled the power of attorney to allow the house sale...... I could go on, but I think you get the message!!!
Your focus on the customer and doing the "Right Thing" has been the cornerstone of this very fantastic experience. I feel that I made the right choice when I chose you to manage this for me.
I hope that one day we will be able to meet up in person and perhaps reflect on our time working together, and drink a Duvel or two as a token of my appreciation.
